Framed around existing musical theatre hits, "as we were" also includes original material written by Zac Nab and show producer Jack Meyer. They've made a night of story and song crafted exclusively for the talents of their cast, all to support a place they love—The Culture House. The Moonfollowers (Aaron Watts and Lance Carter) will be accompanying the performers, after they play an opening set.
You will remember Aaron, Lance, Zac, Andre, Aiden, Phoebe, Delainey, and Caroline from numerous TCH shows and other performances around Kansas City.
Last fall, when we put the word out that we needed new mics and sound equipment for our musical productions, these ladies and gentlemen decided to do what they do best: pour their hearts and voices into something, demonstrating what they've lived and learned at TCH.
And by sharing the proceeds to help their fellow performers, they're shining a light on the path ahead for everyone still flourishing at The Culture House.
Grab a ticket (while they last) to catch this show at our intimate Stage and Studio Theater. We hope you will arrive with generous hearts, ready to enjoy these moments of music, memory, motivation, and meaning...while helping us build the creative futures of all TCH performers.
